How I supported my body coming out of survival mode

For a long time, I thought regulation was something you reached through mindset alone. Meditation, journaling, changing your environment. And while those things matter, I learned the nervous system is not just emotional β€” it is biological.

When your body has been in prolonged stress, it becomes depleted. Minerals drop. Digestion weakens. Sleep becomes lighter. Cortisol stays elevated. You can be doing all the β€œright” things, but if your physiology is exhausted, calm still feels out of reach.

Supplements are not a shortcut, and they are not a replacement for ritual, rest, sunlight, and nourishment. But they can help rebuild the internal foundation that allows your nervous system to feel safe again.

These are the ones that made the biggest difference for me.
